ABOUT MELISSA
Melissa is a a New York based female-identifying actress seeking representation. Recently, I graduated from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in MT and a minor in songwriting. While still in Boston, I trained with the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. As soon as I relocated to NYC, I began taking classes in Sketch Comedy Writing and Improv at UCB and The PIT.
Upon arriving in NY, I started booking work. My recent credits include: Lead Vocalist with East Coast Tributes (current); Voiceover for Evangeline in the Featured Film Fractals (currently in post-production); Commercial for Orolay winter coat collection (Start Motion Media); Comedy Improv performer at Upright Citizen Brigade Theater ; Commonwealth Theater’s production of All’s Well That Ends Well where I played one of my many gender bending roles as The King of France.
Most industry professionals have often given me the feedback that I am a true versatile performer. I am the quintessential funny, eccentric character actress. However, I can be your Elaine Benes to your Lady Macbeth and everything in between.
